General Nature Tour Information

Olympia Outfitters strives to Provide a safe, scenic, and serene nature viewing experience. Please read below for important trip Info.

Where we go: Olympia Outfitters specializes in the South Puget Sound’s salt and freshwater habitats. For saltwater tours we primarily launch out of Nisqually Reach, providing water access to the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge and ample opportunities to see seals, porpoises, various species of salt and freshwater ducks, eagles, and ospreys. For those looking to experience freshwater habitats or river floats, our team at Olympia Outfitters can float you down any number of rivers including the Black River, Chehalis River, Satsop River, or the Wynoochee River, all of which provide excellent opportunities to see abundant wildlife including otters, eagles, osprey, deer and of course salmon (seasonally dependent).
